Because this loss was so sudden, we were not prepared emotionally or financially for the expenses we are now facing. We are starting this GoFundMe to help cover funeral costs, funeral arrangements, and to create something lasting for Tammy Green’s honor. Tamera “Tammy” Green was more than just a mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was the heart of our family. She brought light into every room with her wittiness, beautiful smile, her belief in pursuing an education, and her unconditional love for her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved her grandchildren whole-heartedly. She was patient with them and showed them what true love is. She was known as “Nana” to her eleven grandchildren. Whether it was through a warm hug, a word of encouragement, or simply showing up when it mattered most, Tammy had a way of making everyone feel seen, valued, and loved.
