In loving memory of Sybil Splawn

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of our most favorite Sybil. It has been an immeasurable amount of heartache on her husband, children, and grandbabies in the wake of her passing.

To know Sybil was to know a little piece of sunshine. Unwavering support for her family, and a beacon of light to all she met. Her love for crafting, hiking, and Hobby Lobby were only surpassed by her love for her family and friends. She was a proudly fierce mama bear, and an even prouder grandma!

Through myself and siblings, we have looked at personal pieces of her belongings and were reminded of all the great memories. Being able to see some of the world through her pictures she had tucked away, hold the clothing she wore most, that she hid so her hubby wouldn’t see it still had tags, it has been an honor to be able to be loved by her. Her husband Steve, who has been her primary caregiver while at home during all of her treatments, is doing his best to make a new normal while deeply grieving his missing half.

We have been incredibly touched by your support and willingness to help during this difficult time. Many of you have asked how you can assist, and we truly appreciate the kindness.
