In loving memory of Swetha Kotha (40) - a wonderful mother, devoted wife, caring daughter and sister, cherished friend, and respected colleague - we are establishing this fundraiser to honor her life and the warmth she shared with the world.

Swetha touched countless lives with her kindness and generosity. On March 8th, 2026, Swetha spent a beautiful morning attending a religious ritual (Satyanarayana Vratam) at a neighbor’s home. She was happy, vibrant, and grateful to be part of the divine ceremony. Around 11:30 AM, she stepped home to change and tend to a few things while her husband, Suresh Veerati, and their two children (ages 13 and 6) remained with friends next door.

While at home, she spoke with her parents, who were preparing for a visa interview the following day. When she didn't respond to texts after an hour, Suresh went home to check on her. He found Swetha unresponsive in bed; she had set a timer to wake up from a brief rest, but tragically, she never did.

Despite the immediate arrival of emergency services and the best efforts of everyone involved, Swetha could not be revived. This sudden loss has left her family, friends, and neighborhood devastated.
