Hello my name is Alissa Ramos, a colleague and friend of Susana Lopez at SDSU.

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our dear friend and colleague, Susana Lopez. Susana was a cherished member of the SDSU Imperial Valley community, serving as the Administrative Support Coordinator for Student Affairs and Student Health Services. Since joining SDSU in 2020, she brought warmth, dedication, and compassion to every role she held.

Susana touched the lives of so many students, staff, faculty and community with her kindness, positivity, and unwavering support. She will be deeply missed, but her legacy of care and service will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Susana was also a well known member of the Imperial Valley Community. She always had a smile on her face and a “good morning” ready to go. We would like to assist her family with any monetary help. Any amount you would like to donate is greatly appreciated. All donations will go directly to her family for funeral or other expenses.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, June 16th 5-8pm at Frye Chapel.
