In loving memory of Suntory Robertson

I am writing this with a heavy heart as we mourn the sudden loss of our dear friend Suntory. As many of you know, he was truly a special person. His vibrance was unmatched with a kindness and infectious laughter that made every moment brighter and a willingness to go out of his way to help others. He taught us all to live in the moment and love each other for who we are. For those that loved him, he will forever remain the most tender of hearts who had a way of remembering all of the details most people forget.

It’s hard to put into words just how much he meant to all of us and the impact of his loss, but none are as deeply felt as the loss his brother Joe is experiencing. The depth of their bond as brothers was beyond the normal sibling relationship and his loss has left a huge void in Joe’s life that will never be filled.

I have had the honor of being as close as brothers with both Joe and Suntory since school. I know that there are many of us at a time like this who are struggling with how we can express our sympathy and love. We all think we will have more time to prepare for our sunset years, but unfortunately there is now a completely unexpected burden of funeral costs. To help try and diffuse that huge financial burden from Joe, I have established this Go Fund Me so that he can focus his attention on what matters and mourn with his family.

In honor of Suntory and love for Joe, I am asking for your support during this difficult time. Any contribution, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated and will help ease the financial strain on the family and ensure that we can give Suntory the farewell he deserves.
