In Loving Memory Of Stuart Mantle
Donation protected
Stuart Mantle was a devoted husband, father, son and brother who heartbreakingly passed away aged 47.
Stuart endured a very traumatic 18 months from the day he was diagnosed with throat cancer. Facing endless surgical biopsy to find the correct treatment route, Having to attend treatments alone due to the Covid era. He managed to smile every single step of the way. Even brightening the days of the nurses around him. By the end he’d faced chemotherapy, radiotherapy, immunotherapy and 2 large operations to remove all the tumours in his throat. Sadly this stopped him from swallowing food and drink anymore, this lead to him being fed via a peg in his stomach until the end. He battled like a warrior throughout all the pain and suffering he faced.
Sarah and the girls did us all so proud taking care of his every need and being right by his side until the very end, we can’t as a family thank them enough. They managed to pick him up on his worst days and thrived with him on his best.
He brought a smile to so many faces. Leaving so many amazing memories behind, Everyone who knew or met stu will have their own story about him whether it was his funny dance moves to him having the most wins at pool ( we never heard the end of that )
He loved “his girls” more than anything and protected them until the end. It’s now time come together to help “his girls” and do Stuart proud.
I’m looking to help raise funds to help with the funeral and immediate costs.
A service will be held on Tuesday 21st December at 12.30 at Buxton Methodist Church, everyone is welcome and as Stu loved Christmas we ask if everyone could wear Christmas jumpers.
Close family and friends will then be going to Macclesfield crematorium.
We then plan to celebrate this amazing man's life at Cavendish Golf Club, Buxton, please come and share some memories and raise a glass for Stu ❤️
