It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Steven Kurtz at only 42 years old.

Steven became ill and lost his battle with COVID.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 15 years, Sheanna, and two young children, Ava (9) and Hayden (6). He also leaves behind his sister Wendy Kelley and proud parents, Ron and Sharon Kurtz. We are all devastated by the loss of this amazing husband, father, son, brother, friend, teacher, coach and colleague. Steven was a dedicated teacher and coach in Miamisburg, who was committed to helping many students to improve their quality of life.

Steven’s wife, Sheanna, now faces the task of being the sole caregiver and provider for their 2 children. The Kurtz family is in need of any and all love and support we can give during this time of grieving as they begin a new way of life without their father and husband.
