It is with the heaviest of hearts that the families and friends of Steve and Tash have come together to create this GoFundMe, in memory of two much-loved cycling enthusiasts.

The loss of Steve and Tash has left an unimaginable void in the lives of the families, friends and everyone who knew them. They were two people who were loved deeply and whose lives touched so many others.

The families have asked that, rather than simply remembering the terrible circumstances in which they were taken from us, we come together as a community to create something positive and lasting in their memory.

We are therefore asking friends, fellow cyclists, members of the community and everyone who knew Steve and Tash to come together and help create a lasting legacy in their honour.

Every donation, no matter how large or small, will contribute towards creating that legacy with the families working together to determine how the funds can best be used to honour Steve and Tash and, in time, help make a positive difference to others.

The families have said:

“Steve was an amazing, kind, caring hard working dad, friend and the most amazing Husband... He will be so very deeply missed by so many... We love you forever Steve.”

And Tash's daughter:

“She is my soulmate and bestest friend... She is the strongest person that I know, that never gave up on anything, a true role model of a mum that you would want... I can feel her everywhere and she will guide me through this life... Until we meet again, I love you my mum ♥️”

We hope that by coming together, we can turn an unimaginable loss into something that reflects the people Steve and Tash were — something rooted in kindness, community, cycling and making our roads safer for everyone.
