In Loving Memory of Stephy: Forever in Our Hearts

On Tuesday, December 31st, at 7 pm, our lives were forever changed when we lost our beautiful Stephy. Our little sister, only 22 years old, was taken from us so suddenly, leaving a void that words can’t even begin to express. Our parents lost their daughter, my niece lost her mom, and our family, friends, and everyone who knew her lost someone truly special. For those who didn't know Stephy was born and raised in Queens, New York, and she lived life with a vibrant energy that could light up any room. She had an infectious smile, and a heart of gold, and would go above and beyond for anyone she loved. Stephy’s favorite color was blue, and she had a love for ceviche that could never be matched. She was a rider—loyal, fierce, and selfless. She didn’t just show up for the people she cared about; she went out of her way to make sure everyone around her felt seen, heard, and loved. Her passing was completely unexpected, especially at such a young age, and the weight of it all is unbearable. The financial burden of laying her to rest is something we were not prepared for, and we find ourselves turning to others for help during this incredibly difficult time. We are asking, with heavy hearts, for any support you can offer as we try to give Stephy the memorial she deserves. Losing someone so pure and full of life is indescribably painful, and we want to honor her memory in a way that reflects the incredible person she was. Stephy touched so many lives with her kindness, love, and loyalty, and we want to ensure her spirit is celebrated and remembered by all who knew her. We know that Stephy would have been the first to help any of us if the roles were reversed, and right now, we’re asking for that same love and generosity in return. Every donation, no matter how small, will help alleviate some of the burden and allow us to focus on grieving and healing as a family.
