Sophia Tagoe passed away on October 22, 2020. Sophia was 41 years old, and was a devoted mother of 2 beautiful children ages 15 and 17, a loving aunt, and sister. Sophia was a vibrant, caring person that loved to cook and care for her entire family and friends. Sophia was an attentive mother and nothing brought her more joy and happiness than caring for her children and family. Anyone who knew Sophia, understood that her children were her pride and joy. Sophia had always dreamt of owning a motorcycle since her teenage years and was so excited when that wish came to fruition. Heartbreakingly, after only one week of living this lifelong dream, she was struck from behind by a motor vehicle and died at the scene. She was out of state, away from her children when this unforeseen accident occurred. Her family would like to believe that before this tragic moment, Sophia was experiencing joy from being on the open road with the wind in her hair and the fresh air hitting her skin.
In lieu of gifts and flowers, the family would request that donations be made to her two loving children towards their college fund, as she instilled the importance of school in her children at a very young age. We ask that all donations be made to the GoFundMe link below.
For those family and friends who are local, although in person visit is thoughtful, we request that for the sake of the children, their privacy is respected during this solemn time.
The funeral service is scheduled for Saturday November 14,2020 at 10:00 am at the Stockbridge Southcare Funeral home in Georgia. Further details will be communicated in the next few days.
