There’s no way to put into words the feeling of losing a sister, a twin, a daughter, an aunt—a beautiful soul with her entire life ahead of her. Siobhan was taken from her family in seconds, leaving behind so much more than shattered hearts, but the undeniable reality of losing someone who truly was the glue. We are asking for donations to help take the financial burden off our dear friends and family during this horrific time. Siobhan helped her twin sister, Shannon, with her 4 children—from school pick-up to babysitting while she worked as an NYC EMT. Childcare is expensive and not something she should need to have weighing on her while fighting through grief. Siobhan deserved so much more life, so the very least we can do is try to help alleviate the cost of all the funeral arrangements for her parents. The devastation of losing a child is unbearable and irreparable. Please find it in your heart to share this post and donate whatever you can. It truly takes a village, and that village was, in so many words, Siobhan.

Siobhan was someone anyone could get along with; she listened with her entire heart and made sure you knew it. She was the biggest nerd with an even bigger heart and a smile that truly lit up the room. We were best friends growing up, and even then, she was the only one of the older kids to make sure my younger sister was included—so much so that my younger sister felt like Siobhan was her best friend, too, and she totally was. A light of the purest kind was taken from us; there’s not a word in this world to truly describe that, but if you had the pleasure of knowing Siobhan’s warmth, you know it is absolutely irreplaceable.
