Dear family and friends,

On November 7th, 2025, our mother, Shermella Joseph, 49 yrs old, died from T-cell Lymphoma-Leukemia, Stage 4 Cancer. We had hoped that she would have been able to have a bone marrow transplant, but by the time of planning the transplant, this very aggressive cancer had spread throughout her whole body and to her brain, and a transplant was no longer possible. Our mother, Shermella, was a wonderful person. She worked hard as a PSW and was highly respected in her field. All her clients loved her and were always happy to see her. Our mother was very compassionate, caring and kind. She loved her sons unconditionally, and always made sure that we had whatever we needed. Even when she didn’t have enough money for certain things, she would make sure that her children were provided for.

Sadly our mother's death has left us, her two young sons, with a large amount of debt, which we have no means of paying for at this time. There will also be the cost of the funeral and burial for the family to cover. That is why we are humbly asking you, family and friends, to consider giving through this GoFundMe.
