Shelemiah Peterkin was an intelligent, well-loved 29 year old woman of humble origins from Moriah, Tobago. She attended Moriah Government Primary School, Bishops High School (Tobago) and St. Joseph's Convent (St. Joseph, Trinidad) and went on to make her country and loved ones very proud when she moved to the UK in 2014 as a national scholar, after winning the competitive President's Medal of Trinidad and Tobago. She then went on to attend Lancaster University, the University of Manchester (where she received the highest grade of her Masters cohort) and began her accounting career in the UK at BAE Systems.

Unfortunately, after several futile attempts to contact her, she was found dead on October 2nd, 2023.

Thanks to the generosity of 100+ people near and far, we have been able to assist Shelemiah's family in successfully funding both her repatriation to Tobago and funeral on November 8th, 2023. May her soul now rest in perfect peace.
