In Loving Memory Of Shelby Tilson

One of the toughest things a parent can face is the loss of a child.  Last night, my dear friend Marcy received the news that no parent ever wants to hear.  Her daughter Shelby was tragically taken too soon.  In the words of her mom, "Shelby was born an artist."  Shelby and her mom would often spend times at parks.  Her mom loved nature and Shelby saw life as art.  She would bring her sketch book to the parks and sketch-- she was such a bright light.  She made friends with everyone that she met, never judging anyone and always looking for the best in people believing everyone had good intentions, even if other people could not see them.  She was the calming force in a house filled with girls. Shelby was so excited to become a godmother to her soul sisters' babies due in August and October.  She loved shopping for the babies' arrival.  Shelby's bright light will always shine -- she was a beautiful spirit with a tender heart.  Anyone can see what a bright light she was if they just look at her pictures.  She was a beautiful, beautiful girl and will be missed by so many.  Shelby was her mom's entire universe. 

Please consider donating to help her mom with unexpected funeral expenses.  We can only imagine what a parent goes through when they receive devastating news.  Any donation will help ease the financial burdens to come.  All of the money will be donated to her mom Marcy to cover expenses.  Marcy teaches in the Pal-Mac school district and has had such a profound impact on so many children.   Mine included.  My kids have an extreme love of learning because of the fantastic teacher that she is.  Please, let's show her love and compassion during this extremely difficult time.  Let's come together as a community to help Marcy.
