Honoring the Life and Legacy of Shelby Flora Balsley

Our hearts are broken as we share that our dear friend, Shelby Balsley, passed away after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Shelby faced every challenge with faith, grace, and a quiet strength that inspired everyone around her. Even in her hardest moments, she led with love — for her family, her friends, and the students she poured her heart into over so many years as a teacher.

Shelby had a gift for making everyone feel seen and valued. She gave endlessly — whether it was her time, her laughter, or a listening ear. Now, it’s our turn to give back to her.

This fundraiser has been created to help cover funeral expenses and to support her beloved children, Summer and Dylan, as they begin to navigate this new chapter. Shelby’s greatest joy was being their mother, and her love for them was truly unconditional.
