In Loving Memory of Shaun McIlhargey

Our hearts are broken as we share the unexpected passing of our beloved, Shaun McIlhargey. He was more than a son, father, brother, and friend; he was a force of nature, with a larger-than-life personality. His infectious laughter and boundless energy touched the lives of countless people, and he left behind a legacy of love and memories. His smile, beautiful blue eyes, and laugh could light up even the darkest corners of any space he entered.

Shaun epitomized selflessness, always willing to give the shirt off his back to help others without seeking recognition. He was a fierce protector of his family, always standing up for us and ensuring our safety and happiness. His loss has left a void in our lives that can never be filled by another.

He is survived by his two beautiful daughters Amber McIlhargey and Peyton McIlhargey, who meant the world to him. They have always been the light in his life and he was so very proud to have the superhero title of "Dad". He was a devoted father, who showered his girls with love and affection. He leaves behind his mother Kathy (Kat) Talbert, whose heart aches with the loss of her first true love. Her pain is immeasurable, a testament to the profound bond they shared. Further survived by his father, Drew Talbert, sister, Kristen Liebengood, brother-in-law, Kirk, niece, Autumn, nephew, Logan, his cousin, Regan Spencer, his best friend, Bryan Knights and a multitude of other very close friends. He was preceded in death by his dear grandparents, Richard and Tommie McIlhargey; and his uncle, Timothy "Jimbo" Vukas McIlhargey. Shaun's love for his family and friends knew no bounds. If you learned one thing about Shaun, it was that family (including his close friends) meant everything.

Though Shaun may have left us physically, his spirit lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

In this difficult time of mourning, we are reaching out to his community for support.
