With broken hearts, we share the sudden and tragic loss of Shannon ‘Nages’ Nagle, who was taken from us in a car accident while driving his son to school.

Miraculously, his son survived and is recovering from non-life-threatening injuries.

We're raising funds to help ease some of the immediate and short term financial pressure which has come during this incredibly difficult time. All support will help with the challenges arising from such an unexpected loss.

My sister, and Shannon’s partner Jenn, is continuing her own recovery from breast cancer. She is now facing the unimaginable grief of losing the man she loved while trying to rebuild her life after months of treatment.

Shannon had a huge heart. He always looked out for others, and never hesitated to lend a hand. His kindness, generosity and willingness to help left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

A proud MUA Member, Shannon worked hard and took great pride in his work. When he wasn't at sea, he loved nothing more than spending time with his son, partner Jenn and those he loved. He was a motorcross enthusiast and ex Naval seaman. He'll be remembered for his loyalty, his sense of humour, his generous ‘Luvinet’ spirit and the genuine care he showed to so many.

If you knew Shannon, you'll know he was always the first to step up when someone else needed a hand. Now it's our turn to do the same for the people he loved.

Every donation, no matter the amount, will make a genuine difference. If you're unable to donate, sharing this page with your family, friends and community would mean just as much.

Thank you for your kindness, generosity and support. It won't take away the pain of losing Shannon, but it will help honour his life and help ease the burden during one of the hardest times imaginable.
