In Loving Memory of Sathguru Dhandapani: Support For His Family

Dear Friends, Family, and Community,

It is with a heavy heart and profound sadness that we share the tragic news of the sudden passing of our dear friend, leader, and community pillar, Sathguru Dhandapani (50).

On the late night of July 6th, Sathguru was involved in a major accident. He fought bravely under the care of doctors, but on July 9th, at Fairfax Inova Hospital in Virginia, Bhagavan ultimately absorbed his noble soul into eternal peace.

Sathguru was a man full of life, warmth, and boundless generosity. His departure leaves an unimaginable void in his home. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Rajee, and their two young daughters (ages 20 and 14), who are now trying to navigate a future completely altered without their guiding light.

Sathguru’s impact on everyone around him was profound. He poured his heart into our community across the Virginia, Maryland, and DC areas. He selflessly served as the Treasurer for the Valluvan Tamil Academy for the past few years, dedicating countless hours to supporting our community's families and cultural roots.

Sathguru possessed a deep love for music and was a constant, passionate supporter of various organizational concerts across the DMV area.
