Sariah Veisinia Nuusila-Tauataina was diagnosed with Stage 3 colon cancer when she was 26 weeks pregnant with her second daughter, shortly after the new year (2023) began. She was just 26 years old.

As a young mother to 2 beautiful daughters (Taina, 2, and Francis, 9 months), Sariah courageously chose to fight this terrible disease.

Sariah’s cancer later progressed to Stage 4, but she never complained or questioned “why me?”. She continued to do what she had to, and because of that she blessed our home and taught each of us more than we can express in words.

Sariah passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at 27 years old.

Sarah was the oldest of 9 children. She was a wife to Sione Tauataina. She was also a beloved daughter, sister, mother, cousin, grand-daughter, and friend.

Our goal is to provide Sione and her daughters help as they will have to go through this hard time without her.
