It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved family member, Santy Wiso known to her family as Sasan. Born on September 24, 2000, on the island of Guam to parents from Tamatam, Chuuk. Sasan brought warmth, laughter, and love into the lives of everyone who knew her.

She spent her early years growing up in Guam, surrounded by her loving family. In 2017, Sasan and her family relocated to California in hopes of building a better future. She embraced this new chapter with courage and grace, attending high school and blossoming into a kind-hearted young woman.

Sasan was always in good spirits. Her smile could light up a room and her energy was contagious. She loved to dance at anytime, anywhere and that love for life made her the heart of every gathering.

Tragically, this loss comes almost exactly a year after the passing of her father. Our family is still grieving that loss, and now we are faced with another heartbreak.

We are humbly asking for support during this difficult time. Sasan’s mother is currently battling cancer herself and is in urgent need of help emotionally, physically, and financially. Any contribution you can make will go directly toward funeral arrangements and supporting Sasan’s family through healing.

Sasan was more than a sister, cousin, daughter, or friend— she was a light to many. Her memory will live on in our hearts forever.
