In Loving Memory of Santiago Guzman
Donation protected
On a day that changed our lives forever, both of my sons were involved in a tragic car accident. My oldest son, Santiago, lost his life in that crash and in his final moments, he saved his younger brother's life. As a mother, there is no pain deeper than losing a child.
Santiago had just graduated from high school this year. He was full of life and laughter. He had plans, big dreams, and wanted to make his family proud. Santiago had the kindest soul and the biggest heart. He had this way of making people feel seen, heard, and loved. He was more than a son. He was a big brother, a best friend, and a protector. He loved his family with everything he had. And in the end, that love is what gave his little brother a second chance at life.
We are now faced with the unimaginable mourning of one child while trying to be strong for another. As we plan Santiago’s Celebration of Life and continue our youngest son’s healing journey, we are humbly asking for your support. Whether it's a donation, a prayer, or a kind word, it means more than we can say.
Please keep my sons and our family in your hearts. Hug your loved ones a little tighter today for Santiago, for all the light he brought into this world, and for the future he should have had.
You were taken from us far too soon, but your love lives on in your little brother, and in all of us. Rest in peace, my sweet baby boy. Your mom will always love you.
