In Loving Memory of Sang Gu

Sang fought cancer with strength and courage. In the three years of his fight, he remained a steadfast father, husband, brother, son and friend. Even through his treatments, he was an encourager, provider and rock becasue of his identity that was deeply rooted in Jesus. He leaves behind a legacy of service, leadership and kindness. Whether he was working at UPS, serving at church, building community doing sports and supporting sports, he brought JOY, laughter, HUGS and candy (for all the littles) wherever he went. Sang leaves behind his wife Tina and three kids - Natalie, Nolan and Nicholas.

We may not know all the ways to support Tina during this difficult time but we hope this campaign will reduce the financial burdens that follow. If you are so moved to honor Sang, please consider donating to this fund to help cover funeral costs and supporting his children with a memorial college fund. Natalie finishes her sophomore year this year, Nolan will enter college in the fall and Nicholas will start high school.

Sang's Journal Entry (June 30, 2020)

" I am so thankful to each and everyone of you. I know that I could not be where I am today since my diagnosis if it were not for your continuous love, support and prayers. I am certain that God hears your prayers and is doing a good thing for all those that love him. May His peace be with all of you especially during these times."

Sang, you are missed.
