In Loving Memory of Sandra R Turner

Our hearts are broken as we prepare to say goodbye to our sweet beautiful mom. She was the light of our family—always giving, always loving, always putting everyone else first. After years of health struggles, she has gone home to be with the Lord, and while we are comforted knowing she’s at peace, we are left with the pain of planning her farewell.

Because of her health, Mom wasn’t able to get life insurance. That means the cost of her funeral (funeral homes now require full payment upfront before service) now falls completely on our my sister and I, and it’s more than we can handle along with the recent death of our grandmother. We want to give her the homegoing she deserves—one filled with love, honor, and dignity for the incredible woman she was.

We are asking, humbly and with heavy hearts, for your help. Any donation, no matter how big or small, will make a difference. And if you can’t give financially, we ask that you please cover our family in your prayers, share this post, and keep her memory alive in your hearts.

Mom always believed in the power of community and faith. She gave her love freely, without hesitation from volunteering with Girl Scouts and churches in the area to coming to all sports functions at the high school and college to support the kids in the Chanute community way after her kids had left. She was a true diamond in our community. And we know she would be touched to see the love and support coming together to honor her life. From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU for every prayer, every kind word, and every act of love shown to our family during this time. ❤️ ❤️
