In Loving Memory of Samantha Vuong

Donation protected
Samantha Vuong was the sweetest, most beloved, and an amazing artistically bright 16-year-old West Covina High School student, on her junior year. Tragically on Monday morning, 3.27.2023, she passed away in her room.
We the Vuong family will be eternally grateful for your gratitude and generosity during this time of unexplainable grief of a young soul. If you can't donate, please share to those who can.
These funds will be used to cover funeral and memorial expenses by the family. My name is Akura-Jade Vuong, the big sister, and this is THE ONLY FUNDRAISER for Samantha Vuong.

A passage from the father, Kong Vuong:
The story of Samantha Vuong.
She was born in 2006 , September be the month , on the 24th day , she came running down the stairs , saying her water broke , finally I get a legit reason to speed , and off we go to San Dimas hospital for rush delivery but it would still take another day of waiting before she was born , my wife said her name is Samantha, “Like my sister Sammie ?” I said. “. No. “My wife said “ just Samantha “. And she was born. Samantha grew along her big sister AJ, 6 years younger, everywhere we traveled, the two sisters went side by side. Grand Canyon, to Zion , wrap around to Laughlin, and camping in Malibu , from swimming up Colorado river to jumping in every lake around so cal. Samantha and AJ went side by side , she spent her grade school years at Monte vista elementary and walked to school everyday , soon after she completed middle school at Walnut Grove Intermediate and excelled at volleyball and basketball. Following in AJ’s steps , she attended West Covina High School and became a tough bulldog joining the volleyball ball squad and basketball team, track shot put, ASB Class of 2024 Vice President, and so many clubs. By this time she had grown to a beautiful 5’ 7” show stopping woman that went to prom and ASB events , always promoting the bulldogs wherever she went. She spent much time with her boyfriend and they both enjoyed time and events that a young couple would have. She enjoyed fishing , sports and making money at her boyfriend’s brother’s Photo Booth as booth attendants. She was the baby girl in the family and she had two little brothers Dom and Sterling, that she loved and cared for. Her big sister AJ cared for her and my family was complete. She was the light of my life and she had this unforgettable smile that would extend from check to check. Samantha was growing to be a tall beautiful woman and had uncles and aunts that would provide anything and everything she would ask for, a pair of grandmas that gave her love that stretched beyond what the skies could see. Samantha was the best of us, well mannered, so kind, creative, smart, and the most thoughtful girl I ever knew. I love her and then , now , and always , she will be missed and I cry every time I think of her. Samantha Vuong is my favorite, the most loved little girl anyone and everyone could ever meet. I love you Samantha, Love you

please respect our family’s wishes and privacy during this time. Thank you for showing Samantha love and support.
