In loving memory of Samantha Gauvin

Tragedy has struck this family once again with the sudden passing of Samantha “Sam” Gauvin on August 25, 2025. Beloved wife and best friend to James Gauvin, Sam was also the cherished daughter of Layne and Sue, treasured sister to Lauren and precious daughter-in-law and sister-in-law to Janet and Jessica. She was a loving mom to her dear son Jacob and is predeceased by her angel baby Brayden.

Sam’s life was never easy. What would have broken most people only revealed her strength. She was resilient, stubborn in her convictions, and fiercely loving and generous. She met life’s challenges with perseverance and grace, always finding a way forward with a smile. She was a devoted wife, daughter, sister and friend whose presence will be profoundly missed.

In the wake of this loss, James faces unexpected funeral expenses and the challenge of maintaining their household while taking time from work to grieve. This fund has been created to support him during this period of unimaginable sorrow. Contributions will help cover remaining funeral costs and essential living expenses, providing him with time and space to mourn without immediate financial pressures.
