In Loving Memory of Ryan McCabe
Donation protected
On March 30th, 2025, our beloved Ryan tragically lost his battle with mental illness at just 29 years old. After fighting for nearly 15 years with borderline personality disorder, the weight of his struggle became too much to bear. His passing has left an immeasurable void in the lives of everyone who knew and loved him, especially his parents, Tracey and Martin, his older sister, Leighanne, and his younger sister, Megan.
To know Ryan was to love him. His beautiful blue eyes and freckled face could capture you instantly, but it was his warmth, kindness, and infectious energy that truly made him unforgettable. He was so soft and gentle, a soul far too sensitive for the weight of the world. Ryan taught us the importance of kindness and forgiveness, because so many battles are fought in silence.
Behind his radiant exterior, however, was a struggle that few could truly comprehend. Ryan fought courageously against the challenges of borderline personality disorder. The weight of his battle was immense, affecting every part of his life. His strength was nothing short of extraordinary, continuing to face each day with determination and a will to overcome, even in his final moments.
Losing Ryan so young is a tragedy no family should ever have to endure, yet even in their grief, his loved ones are holding each other up with love and resilience.
In response to those asking to contribute to Ryan's Family, we have created this fundraiser for anyone wishing to show their support financially. Donations will go towards covering Ryan’s funeral costs and supporting his family as they navigate a world without him. Additionally, donations will also be given towards a mental health charity, ensuring others who have the same struggle as Ryan, can receive the help and support they need. Every donation will make a meaningful difference whilst also contributing to raising awareness and support for those facing similar battles.
Please share this page, keep Ryan’s memory alive in your hearts, and know that your kindness means more than words can express.
