Ruth De Leon bid us farewell, passing peacefully on March 6, 2022 with her entire family at her side. She is survived by her adoring husband, Florante, along with her four children, Ibarra, Diwata, Flora, and Ruth. She was born in The Philippines on December 30, 1954 to Heldibrando and Shirley Pestano where she grew up with her 9 siblings.

Passionate, clever, and poetic, Ruth was the ideal partner to Filipino singer and songwriter, Florante. Together they created timeless music that continues to inspire people around the world. Her adventurous spirit guided her global travels, leaving memorable moments with everyone she met. Her greatest joys were her children and grandchildren. She loved people and lived vivaciously. Ruth leaves a legacy of family, joy and strength. She was our “best love.”
