Our Story

On 4th July 2026, our beautiful daughter Ruby unexpectedly passed away, leaving a hole in our family that can never be filled.

She was a loving sister, daughter, granddaughter and friend who brought so much light into the lives of everyone who knew her.

Ruby was an incredible young girl. She was creative, funny, kind and full of personality. She also lived with ADHD and experienced many of the challenges that come with being a neurodivergent child, especially in the education system. Like so many children, she deserved to be understood, supported and heard.

In Ruby's memory, we are creating Ruby's Voice – a charity dedicated to ensuring that every child, particularly those who are neurodivergent, has the opportunity to be heard, understood and supported, in day to day life and very important, the education system.

As the charity cannot be formally registered before Ruby's funeral, we have created this GoFundMe page so that anyone wishing to honour Ruby's memory can do so. Instead of flowers, we kindly ask that, if you are able, you consider making a donation.

Every penny raised, after any GoFundMe processing fees, will be used to establish Ruby's Voice and begin the work of creating a lasting legacy in Ruby's name.

Our hope is that, through Ruby's Voice, other children and families will receive the understanding, support and opportunities that every child deserves.
