On November 18th, 2025, our beloved Rose Affoue Yao passed away at just 27 years old after a long and heartbreaking battle with cancer. Her loss has left a deep sadness in the hearts of everyone who knew her. Rose was gentle, kind, and full of quiet strength, the type of person whose presence made life feel a little lighter.

She fought her illness with courage, holding onto hope even on her hardest days. But cancer took her far too soon, cutting short a life filled with dreams, love, and potential.

Rose leaves behind her 6-year-old son, Komi Prince, who brought joy and purpose to her life. Although she tried her best to stay strong for him, her passing has created both emotional and financial hardship, especially with no close family members to step in during this difficult time.

This GoFundMe has been created to help give Rose the dignified funeral and burial she deserves, to ensure her son is cared for during this transition, and to provide support as plans are made for his future.
