In Loving Memory of Rosanna May Knapp: Funeral Support

Rosanna (Rosy) May Knapp, June 16, 1988 – December 18, 2024

Rosy grew up in Woodbury, Connecticut. She attended and graduated from Nonnewaug High School in 2006. Rosy was a beautiful spirit who loved music, especially the Grateful Dead and John Mayer. She was so gifted with a beautiful voice that she used in many plays she performed in throughout her life. Rosy was a gymnast, cheerleader, and flute player in the high school marching band. She moved to North Carolina and 8 years ago made New Bern her life. She loved arts and crafts, was a fun-loving soul who always made others happy, and she never turned down (or lost) a game of Trivial Pursuit. Her beautiful smile and beautiful eyes always lit up a room. The love of her life was her new puppy, Lucy.

Rosy passed quietly away in her sleep on December 18, 2024, after a brief illness. She leaves behind a devastated, loving family of her parents, grandparents, cousins, uncles, aunts, nieces, and nephews, and an even larger found family of friends and loved ones who will miss her presence every single day.

In lieu of flowers during this difficult time, Rosy's family is asking that donations be given to help with the high costs of funeral arrangements and service.
