In Loving Memory of Ronald Oliver

Dear friends, family, and compassionate strangers,

We are reaching out to you with heavy hearts and deep sadness to share our devastating journey over the past few weeks. On July 19, during what was meant to be a relaxing hour, my beloved partner, Ronald, tragically contracted Legionnaires' disease. This vicious infection took hold after spending just five minutes in the hot tub room. Despite our immediate actions after seeing mold, nine days of battling symptoms at home, and six days in the hospital fighting for his life on life-support, we lost Ronald on August 3.

The loss has left our family shattered, but we are determined to honor Ronald's memory and provide the best possible future for our children. We are blessed that I did not contract the infection, our children could have lost both of their parents. However, we are now faced with the immense challenge of navigating life without our Papi's love, guidance, and support.

We are humbly asking for your support during this difficult time. The funds raised will be used to cover the expenses associated with Ronald's memorial service, allowing us to honor his life and say our final goodbyes in a meaningful way. Additionally, a portion of the donations will be dedicated to securing the future of our children, providing them with the tools, education, and support they need to persevere through this immense loss.
