Rodelo Del Rosario Dimaano is a hero, a U.S. Navy Veteran, a golf enthusiast, a United States Postal Service mechanic, an active member in his Catholic church community, a comedian, an amazing chef, a K-Drama lover, a gardener, a friend, a brother, a son, an uncle, a nephew, a cousin, a friendly neighbor, a grandfather, a father, and most importantly a loving husband.
He may be a shy man of few words, but those who know him knew he is one of the kindest human beings, and always had your back.

Our everything went back home to be with his father and the Lord in Heaven on May 11, 2020. He fought resiliently against COVID-19 for three weeks. Although his mission here on Earth has come to an abrupt end, his life and story goes on with our family, his loving wife and best friend Maria Luisa Dimaano, and his pride and joys, Andrei and Patricia Dimaano.
We have been so humbled and thankful by our family and friends' response to support us and send kind thoughts, loving messages and prayers.

Today, I (Patricia) am raising money to help our family cover memorial costs, but most of all to support our mother who has been such a strong person, wife and mother for us during these past three weeks.
All donations received will be used towards funeral costs, and of course all are invited to attend the service. Unfortunately with the given circumstances, we are not sure when the service will take place as cemeteries have temporarily paused on all services until further notice. But please know we will be honoring my father's wishes to be laid to rest at the Riverside National Cemetery in California, to honor his time and service in the Navy.
Any donation in surplus of our goal will be given to my mother to help support her and remove any financial burdens she may have due to this sudden tragedy.
If you would feel more comfortable to make a donation to our family directly, please message me or e-mail me at: [email redacted] so that I can help you send it to my mother. Also, my Venmo is: @patricia-dimaano (please indicate in the notes that it is a donation so I can keep track) or Paypal: [email redacted]
Please do not feel burdened to make any type of donations. Times are tough for all of us, but what I would like to ask instead is to keep his story in your thoughts, and especially help others to realize that COVID-19 is real and effects us all. It hurts us to see people not take this seriously when my father fought so resiliently just to make it back home to us. I am sure his mission will be fulfilled as we as an effected community share his story and keep others safe and together with their loved ones.

Thank you especially to everyone who has reached out previously in an effort to donate to our family, and even encourage me to make this page. My dad would be so happy to see everyone help out.
I also invite everyone to share our story and encourage all to share their own stories about my dad as well.
Take care everyone, spread love.
