In loving memory of Rod Maclam

To our family and friends, it is with heavy hearts that we say good-bye to Rod who passed away peacefully on March 5, 2024. Rod was beloved by so many souls. He shared in a loving marriage of 25 years with his wife Andrea. He was a son, brother, uncle, cousin, grandson, and friend to many. You will notice how no use of "in-law" is used here. That is because to us, he was our true family.

Rod, in Andrea's words, liked to pretend that he was a grumpy old man but those who truly knew him knew he was a marshmallow. He was resilient in his fight for sobriety and showed tremendous strength and determination in the past two years. He loved wrestling, the Chiefs and grilling. But what he loved more than anything was Andrea, followed by his family, his friends, and of course his dog. He will truly be missed.

In lieu of flowers (Rod hated flowers) the family asks for donations for the funeral services so that we can provide Rod with a final send-off until we see him again.

The funeral viewing will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024, from 3:00pm to 7:00pm at Glendale Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 17, 2024, at 11:30am in the funeral home chapel.
