In Loving Memory of Robert Wellington
Robert Wellington passed away on February 10, 2026, at 5:00 PM. Robert lived a life defined by service, curiosity, and generosity. His commitment to helping others was woven into everything he did. As a dedicated board member for the Children’s Hospital, Robert consistently spoke with passion about the importance of supporting the community and giving back. He believed deeply in lifting others up and never hesitated to offer help to anyone in need.
In 2019, Robert joined Hertz Car Sales, where he worked at several locations—including Costa Mesa, Norwalk, and Inglewood. No matter where he went, he made a lasting impact through his strong work ethic, warm personality, and willingness to go above and beyond. Robert was also an active and proud member of Freemasonry, embracing its values of integrity, brotherhood, and compassion.
Outside of his professional and community commitments, Robert was an adventurer at heart. He loved camping in the desert and was endlessly fascinated by the hidden histories of abandoned mines. He would often return from his explorations with unique quartz rocks he had found—each one a reflection of his curiosity and appreciation for the world around him. Robert had a talent for working with his hands. Whether refinishing furniture, repairing his vehicle, or tackling new projects, he approached each task with patience and skill. When something captured his interest, he immersed himself completely—learning everything he could before moving on to his next passion.
Robert’s spirit was one of generosity, curiosity, and dedication. He touched many lives through his kindness, his craftsmanship, and his love for adventure. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May his memory continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to share in his journey.
Funds raised will be used to cover the costs associated with Robert's passing and to assist Tina Wellington, as Robert was the sole provider for their family. There will not be a funeral or memorial service. Your support will help Tina find stability during this difficult time. Robert would love and appreciate if people gave back to others and help those in need. Any contribution, memory, or act of kindness in his honor is deeply appreciated.
