In Loving Memory of Robert Brewer

Robert J. Brewer was known by many names. Rob, Bob, Bobby, Brew...but most of us knew him as Brewer. He was loved by many people and had many different circles of friends. Many of us have only just met each other and have shared many laughs as we realized that Brewer was not that much different from a neighborhood cat who has convinced each neighbor that he is theirs. Eating dinner at every house along the way. So many of us said "Oh, he spent Thanksgiving with you too???!!"

Our favorite grumpy raincloud, Brewer, passed away from complications of Pancreatic Cancer on October 8th. He was a very private person and very proud. Many of us only found out specific details in the final months. We did what we could to be by his side and help him during his final days. His sarcastic sense of humor was sharp up until the very end, and he loved his family and friends fiercely (and had a special love for all of our pets).

We are asking for donations to provide his family with some form of financial relief during this difficult time. There are expenses for end of life details (cremation costs, shipping his car across the country to his mother, etc). His wonderful sister, Megan, is his point person on all of these details and much of this burden is falling on her. We would like to support her and help her with these costs.

We will be holding a Celebration of Life on Sunday, November 6th at 3pm at the Sacred Fools Theatre (Formerly Elephant Theatre- his home theatre).
