On the morning of June 12, 2025, Robert “Rob” Bishop Rish tragically lost his life in a motorcycle accident near his new home in Anchor, Illinois. He was just 38 years old.
Rob was a beloved partner, son, brother, and friend. He had a deep love for the outdoors—whether it was a quiet morning with coffee and chickens, playing disc golf with his loyal dog Foxey, or riding his motorcycle through the countryside. He was a passionate supporter of Leicester City FC and a gifted woodworker whose creativity left a lasting mark.
Rob is survived by his partner, Kailey “KB” Smith, who now faces the heartbreaking reality of life without him. KB has shown remarkable strength, but this kind of loss brings not only emotional weight, but also significant financial hardship such as, travel expenses and time away from work to grieve and heal.
This fundraiser is an opportunity for friends, family, and anyone touched by Rob’s story to help support KB during this devastating time. Every donation, no matter the size, will help ease the burden she now carries and allow her space to mourn, recover, and rebuild.
Please consider donating and sharing this campaign to honor Rob’s memory and support the woman he loved so deeply.
From the bottom of our hearts—thank you.
