In Loving Memory of Rithin Chava: Supporting His Family

Dear Friends, Family, and Community,

It is with heavy hearts that we come together to mourn the loss of our dear friend, Rithin Chava. Rithin, a bright and promising individual from Hyderabad, Telangana, India, embarked on a journey to pursue his master's degree at Swansea University in the UK. Tragically, just three months into his new adventure, Rithin's life was cut short by a sudden cardiac arrest in his flat in Cardiff on March 29th, 2024.

Rithin's journey was not without its challenges. Raised by his mother, Chava Lavanya, a single parent who tirelessly worked to provide for her family after the loss of Rithin's father, their bond was unbreakable. Rithin's determination and perseverance were evident in every step he took, and his passing has left a void that can never be filled.

As Rithin's roommate in Cardiff and a childhood friend, I (Ganesh Alla) have witnessed firsthand the love and strength of his family. In honor of Rithin's memory and to ease the burden on his grieving mother, we are initiating this fundraiser.

The funds raised will go towards Rithin's final rites and providing ongoing support for his family, particularly his mother, Chava Lavanya. Funeral expenses can be overwhelming, especially for a single parent already facing numerous challenges. Additionally, the support extended to Chava Lavanya will assist her in navigating this difficult period and rebuilding her life in the wake of this tragedy.
