In Loving Memory of Rigoberto Alvarez – Help Us Say Goodbye

It is with a heavy heart that I share the passing of our beloved uncle, Rigoberto Alvarez, who left us to be with our Lord on May 8th, 2025. I am reaching out during this difficult time to ask for your support.

My Tio Rigo was a kind, humble, generous, and loving man who touched the lives of everyone he met—whether through his big, contagious smile, his good deeds, his huge heart, his passion for music, or his deep love and dedication to family and friends.

Watching him play the bandolón at all our family get-togethers was such a treat. He was not just a great uncle, but a good friend, a mentor, a loving husband, an amazing father, a wonderful grandfather, a brother who was always there, and a pillar of strength for so many of us.

I am raising funds to help my Tia Armida and my Primos cover the cost of his funeral services. Our goal is to give my Tio Rigo the dignified farewell he deserves—a celebration of who he was and how deeply he was loved—and to ease the financial burden on our family as we navigate this painful loss.
