It is with shattered hearts that we share the tragic passing of our beloved Ricky.
Ricky was the life of the party and the heart of our family. He had a way of making everyone laugh, bringing people together, and filling every room with energy, warmth and mischief. Whether it was a family gathering, a celebration, or just an ordinary day, Ricky made it brighter simply by being there. He was the kind of person who showed up for everyone, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Above everything else, Ricky was a proud and devoted dad to his two beautiful young boys, Bentley and Wade. They were his whole world. He spoke about them with so much love and pride, and being their dad was what mattered most to him.
His passing has left an unimaginable hole in our family and in the lives of Bentley and Wade, who now face growing up without their dad. As a family, we are wrapping our arms around these boys and doing everything we can to ensure they are supported, protected and surrounded by love in the months and years ahead.
We have created this GoFundMe to help ease some of the immediate financial pressure on the family and to ensure Bentley and Wade are cared for into the future. Funds raised will go towards Ricky’s funeral and memorial expenses, as well as ongoing support for the boys — including their day-to-day needs, counselling, education and anything that will help provide them with stability and opportunities as they grow.
No parent or child should ever have to face a loss like this. If you are able to donate, no matter how big or small, it will make a meaningful difference and will go directly toward supporting Bentley and Wade. If you can’t donate, sharing this page and keeping our family in your thoughts means just as much.
We will remember Ricky for his laughter, his big personality, and the love he had for his boys and his family. Thank you for helping us honour his memory and for helping us surround Bentley and Wade with the support they will need in the years ahead.
With love and gratitude,
