“The One”

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ricky Anthony Dueñas; lovingly known as “Ricky” or “The One,” on June 15, 2025, in Los Angeles, California. Although his life was far too short, he left an unforgettable impact on everyone he met.

Ricky was truly bigger than life — a man whose presence filled every room, whose laughter was infectious, lifted spirits, and whose words of encouragement pushed others toward their dreams. He made friends wherever he went, including the 39 states he visited, never meeting a stranger, and treating everyone with deep respect and kindness.

At his core, Ricky was a devoted father. His children, “Little” Ricky, Knight, and Nevaeh were his greatest pride and joy. He also embraced Maribell and Tommy as his own. His love for his children was unwavering, and everything he did was for them. He deeply loved his partner Anabel, sharing a bond built on love, strength, and unwavering support. His family and friends were not just a part of his life; they were his life.

Ricky inspired those around him with his positivity, his drive, and his belief that anything was possible. He reminded us to live fully, to love deeply, and to lift each other up.

Though we mourn the loss of Ricky, we also celebrate the beautiful, powerful legacy he leaves behind — a legacy of love, laughter, and connection. May we carry his spirit forward in how we live, how we treat others, and how we care for one another.

Rest in peace, Ricky. You were truly one of a kind and will not be forgotten.
