Hi, my name is Tell Ochs. In June 2021, my father (Richard) was officially diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia. It was never easy, but i'm thankful to have been able to help him get through it to the end. After a long and terrible battle, I lost my father (and best friend) on the evening of January 28th, 2024. We are all thankful he is no longer suffering and can finally be at peace.

Anyone that knew my dad knows that he was one of the most caring people and that he loved his family more than anything in the world. I'm incredibly thankful that, until the very end, he almost always still knew who we all were.

Being in assisted living for 18 months has depleted nearly everything he had saved up after retirement, and the last little bit he had left at his time of passing will end up going towards medical costs for the extended hospital stays he had in the last 2 months.

I'm asking anyone that can spare whatever they can to help by donating for his memorialization so that our family can have the ways of remembering him that he would have wanted. I will be managing the process of his cremation services and memorializations. We will be providing a Remembrance of Life sometime this spring for him and anything donated beyond the costs of the cremation and memorializations will be used for that. I'm starting a goal at $5,000.
