In Loving Memory of Richard E. Kinney

My fathers face would light up at the sight of a furry friend coming to see him.  He would get the biggest smile on his face and immediately want to give them a treat.  As my father's health declined and he spent more time in healthcare facilities, the one thing that would bring him immediate joy and happiness is when the pet therapy dog would come and visit him.   In honor of my father, my hero and avid dog lover, Richard E. Kinney, I have created this memorial donation to Paws and Think, Inc.  Any donation will help bring joy, comfort and healing through pet therapy.  Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that meant so much to my father.

Paws & Think serves the community in Central Indiana through: (1) reading programs with trained volunteer-dog reading teams in Marion County Title 1 schools as well as at several libraries surrounding Indianapolis; (2) Youth Canine programs that pair shelter dogs in need of homes with incarcerated teens to teach life skills to both groups; and (3) animal assisted activities and therapies programs to help children and adults cope with loss, recover or rehabilitate, or manage changes in life circumstances.
