In Loving Memory of Ricardo Renteria

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we share with everyone that Ricky passed away on August 15th, 2021. After a two-year long battle with cancer, Ricky is no longer with us physically but, his kind and loving spirit will live on through all of us. He is now on his path to eternal life with the Lord, as we all know he was a true believer and had all his faith in God's promise. 

It was ultimately Ricky’s selfless decision to keep information about his worsening condition towards his last month’s private to close family and friends. Ricky didn’t want others around him to feel more pain or stress than necessary. As his state progressed, he focused on recovery and following the doctor’s orders. Ricky voiced his appreciation and support he received from everyone. We hope you all respect his choice.

Ricky was a kind and loving son, grandson, brother, uncle, brother-in-law, cousin, and friend. Always the type person to try to include everyone, play with the kids at parties, and would put others in front of himself. He devoted so much of his life to family, leaving an impact on everyone and setting an example for all the younger members. He would share his wisdom, time, and advice to all of his family and friends. Anybody who met him, would be able to tell you about his caring and fun personality. Ricky was a fighter at heart always pushed through to the end. Without a doubt, he never hesitated and fought his battle.

We ask that you keep Ricky and his family in your prayers for strength and comfort, and only if you can spare it, that you donate any amount you can afford. Sharing this page with others will also help tremendously. During these difficult times the family has taken it upon themselves to go out of their way and ensure Ricky’s last days were spent as comfortably as possible. Any proceeds will go to pay for funeral services and ensure that the family needn’t worry about any finances, to grieve peacefully.

We were honored and lucky to have him in our lives and he will live on through all of our wonderful memories. Our beloved Ricky will be missed tremendously!  Forever in our hearts.

Es con gran tristeza y gran pesar que compartimos con todos que Ricky falleció el 15 de agosto de 2021. Después de una larga batalla de dos años contra el cáncer, Ricky ya no está con nosotros físicamente, pero su espíritu bondadoso y amoroso seguirá vivo. a través de todos nosotros. Ahora está en su camino a la vida eterna con el Señor, como todos sabemos, él era un verdadero creyente y tenía toda su fe en la promesas de Dios.

En última instancia, fue la decisión desinteresada de Ricky mantener la información sobre el empeoramiento de su condición en la intimidad de su último mes para familiares y amigos cercanos. Ricky no quería que los demás a su alrededor sintieran más dolor o estrés de lo necesario. A medida que avanzaba su estado, se centró en la recuperación y en seguir las órdenes del médico. Ricky expresó su agradecimiento y apoyo que recibió de todos. Esperamos que todos respeten su decision.

Ricky era un hijo, nieto, hermano, tío, cuñado, primo y amigo bondadoso y cariñoso. Siempre era el tipo de persona que intentaba incluir a todos, le encaen las fiestas y pone a los demás frente a sí mismo. Dedicó gran parte de su vida a la familia, dejando un encataba compartir tiempo con los ninos, empacto a todos y dando ejemplo a todos los miembros más jóvenes. Compartiría su sabiduría, su tiempo y sus consejos con toda su familia y amigos. Cualquiera que lo haya conocido podría contarte sobre su personalidad cariñosa y divertida. Ricky fue un luchador de corazón que siempre empujó hasta el final. Sin duda, nunca dudó y pelio esta batalla hasta el final.

Le pedimos que mantengan a Ricky y su familia en sus oraciones por fortaleza y consuelo, y solo si pueden donar se les agradeceria. Durante estos tiempos difíciles, la familia se ha encargado de hacer todo lo posible y asegurarse de que los últimos días de Ricky se pasaran lo más cómodamente posible. Todo lo recaudado se destinará a pagar los servicios funerales y garantizará que la familia no tenga que preocuparse por las finanzas, para poder sobre llevar la pena en paz.
