Reyna Poblano-Flores was a devoted wife, incredible mom, affectionate grandma, and loving friend. In late Summer 2024, she was sadly diagnosed with Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer but fought resiliently through chemotherapy, many operations, and countless emergency / hospital visits. Throughout her battle with cancer, she always remained hopeful in recovering so she could spend more time with her loved ones. On the night of April 9th, 2026, our mom took her last breath with family and friends by her bedside at NYU Lutheran.
Please help us with raising enough money to fulfill our mom’s last wish of sending her back to Mexico to lay and rest alongside her mom (our grandma) and our father, who both passed away in the lat 6 years. She not only wanted to be back in her hometown but also be reunited one last time with her siblings and oldest daughter after many years of being separated. The money raised will go towards funeral expenses in NYC and Mexico as well as covering remaining medical costs from her long and strenuous fight against cancer.

Reyna Poblano-Flores fue una esposa dedicada, una madre increíble, una abuela cariñosa y una amiga amorosa. A finales del verano de 2024, lamentablemente fue diagnosticada con cáncer de ovario en etapa 4, pero luchó con resiliencia a través de la quimioterapia, muchas operaciones y incontables visitas a emergencias y al hospital. Durante toda su batalla contra el cáncer, siempre mantuvo la esperanza de recuperarse para poder pasar más tiempo con sus seres queridos. La noche del 9 de abril de 2026, nuestra mamá, en el NYU Lutheran, exhaló su último aliento con familiares y amistades a su lado.
Por favor, ayúdenos a recaudar suficiente dinero para cumplir el último deseo de nuestra mamá: enviarla de regreso a México para que descanse junto a su mamá (nuestra abuela) y a nuestro padre, quienes fallecieron en los últimos 6 años. Ella no solo quería volver a su tierra natal, sino también reencontrarse por última vez con sus hermanos y su hija mayor después de muchos años de separación. El dinero recaudado se destinará a los gastos funerarios en Nueva York y México y también cubrir los costos médicos restantes de su larga y ardua lucha contra el cáncer.
