In loving memory of my husband,
Ray "Spanky" Ostrolecki.
Spanky had been fighting some tough health issues. A lot of them were combating each other making it even harder for doctors to have a direct path to recovery. He had been in the hospital what seems every year in the past 10. There were great days and there were tough weeks. But this last time, his body got tired of fighting. It was a lot for one person to deal with. Sadly we had to say "goodbye" to him Saturday morning 3/14. when he passed away in the hospital. He had been there for 7 weeks and it was a tough time not only on me but his family as well. Its a relief to know he's not suffering anymore and can finally get the rest he deserved.
I met Spanky just after I graduated high school. We dated for a few years and then got married. We have been married for 26 years. We enjoyed traveling to truck shows in the Midwest every summer. With him you never knew what car he was driving. The joke amongst friends that hadn't seen him for a minute "what are you driving now?" At one point him and I laughed about having as many cars as years we were together.
Anyone that knew him, knew his love for anything with a motor (& good wheels) was his passion. And the cars he had were always meticulously clean.
Years later him and his dad bought a boat and that was his new found love. A place he could get away from daily stress. It was a place to go fishing have a cigar and kick back.
He was a great husband and a great dog dad to our fur kids. We all will miss him dearly. We are at ease knowing he's in a better place now.
Please help us lay him to rest by donating what you can.
We appreciate all of you and your love and support of Ray/Spanky.
