In Loving Memory of Raquelle Rosalez
We come to you with heavy hearts, seeking your support during this difficult time. Our daughter, Raquelle recently lost her battle with breast cancer on June 2, 2024 at 28 years old after bravely fighting for 3 years.
Raquelle was diagnosed with stage 3 triple negative breast cancer in June 2021 at the age of 25. She completed 6 months of "red devil" chemo and had a mastectomy in January 2022 which was then followed by 25 sessions of radiation therapy.
In March 2023, Raquelle was diagnosed with stage 4 triple negative breast cancer. Scans showed that the cancer has moved to her lungs, lower back, and hips. Chemotherapy treatments weren't working anymore and the doctors found her cancer growing, leaving her in immense amounts of pain. At the end, her lungs developed fluid that began blocking her airways. She passed almost 2 months before her 29th birthday.
Throughout her battle, Raquelle refused to think negatively. She was always positive that she would make it through and live a long happy and healthy life. You never heard her complain about her condition. She saw it as a bump in the road, not the end. Triple negative breast cancer (TNBC) is a rare aggressive type of breast cancer and there are not many treatment options available. She was constantly doing research and looking for new treatment options that would work, where chemo treatments failed.
Raquelle was a strong and positive individual. She was a kind soul and loved spending time with her nephew, Logan, riding her Harley motorcycle with her boyfriend, spending time with her dogs (Harley, a pit-mix, and Remi, a boxer-great dane mix), and gardening.
We want to give Raquelle the memorial she deserves, to honor her memory and say our last goodbyes.
