God bless everyone. On behalf of the Villanueva and Marroquin family we inform that Raquel Villanueva passed away on January 10, 2026. After 10 days of battle, she made it to the final goal and won the race, the race of eternal life with our Lord Jesus Christ.

On the night of December 31, 2025 she suffered a stroke. She was taken to the hospital immediately that night and put into surgery to retrieve the bleeding from her brain and repair the broken vessel. After the surgery, we were simply left waiting to see if she was able to wake up. They informed us there were many possibilities for her: either waking up, being left with permanent disabilities, or simply not waking up at all. We waited on the Lord to do His will with Raquel and after 10 days, the Lord decided to receive her in His arms. Although our hearts are very broken for her loss, we have peace knowing that she is in a better place now, a place where “….There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain….” (Revelation 21:4). We are simply left with all the good memories she left behind and the comfort and strength of our Lord.

And we write this to ask if anyone has it in their hearts to donate. Any funds will be deeply appreciated as this is a very hard time for her husband, Ernesto Villanueva and her only son, Ernie Villanueva whom she left behind. We thank you all who donated in advance and may God bless you all abundantly.

Dios los bendiga a todos. En nombre de las familias Villanueva y Marroquín les informamos que Raquel Villanueva falleció el 10 de enero de 2026. Después de 10 días de batalla llegó a la meta final y ganó la carrera, la carrera de la vida eterna con nuestro Señor Jesucristo.

En la noche del 31 de diciembre de 2025 ella sufrió un derrame cerebral. Fue trasladada al hospital inmediatamente esa noche y sometida a una cirugía para detener la hemorragia en su cerebro y reparar la vena. Después de la cirugía, simplemente nos quedamos esperando para ver si ella lograba despertar. Nos informaron que había muchas posibilidades para ella: ya fuera despertar, quedar con discapacidades permanentes o simplemente no despertar. Esperamos en el Señor para que se hiciera Su voluntad con Raquel. Y después de 10 días, el Señor decidió recibirla en Sus brazos. Aunque nuestros corazones están muy dolidos por su pérdida, tenemos paz sabiendo que ella está ahora en un lugar mejor, un lugar donde “…. ya no habrá más muerte, ni habrá más llanto, ni clamor, ni dolor….”(Apocalipsis 21:4). Simplemente nos quedamos con todos los buenos recuerdos que nos dejó y el consuelo y la fortaleza de nuestro Señor.

Escribimos esto para pedir si alguien siente en su corazón el deseo de donar. Cualquier fondo será profundamente agradecido ya que esto es un momento muy difícil para su esposo, Ernesto Villanueva y su único hijo, Ernie Villanueva a quienes ella dejó atrás.
