Our hearts break to share that our beloved "Pa", "Papa Mon", "Abuelo", and Dad passed away suddenly Friday November 26, 2021. Not only was he a great father, grandfather, and husband; he adored his students from his #SAUSD community. Many who he came in touch with through his 29 years of service with SAUSD still remember him today which brings a little bit of solace to his family. For many years he lived off of Cubbon and Main in Santa Ana; a place where it all started in his journey of life. He met his wife during this time, started a family, and began his fight for the Santa Ana Community trying to make the streets better. He continued his journey in making his mark on this world by becoming a soccer coach for his son's team with AYSO Tustin, showing his love for the students and players that he taught as a teacher and coach. He turned into a mentor within SAUSD showing the younger generation how to become leaders for generations to come. To many he was "Mr. Q", "Mr. Quintanilla", "Coach", but to us he was just Dad.
