In Loving Memory of Raelyn Niestroy

After the sudden and unexpected death of our beloved Raelyn, the Niestroy family is seeking donations to aid in paying the costs of her funeral and burial, as well as the care of her young son. Any help would be greatly appreciated in this time of tremendous difficulty.
Raelyn Niestroy, age 22, passed away in her sleep on May 5th, 2018, while in the care of the treatment center where she was seeking help with a longtime substance abuse and mental health issues. The cause of her untimely death is still unknown at this time, and are under the investigation of the Dearborn Police Department, as well as the Wayne County Medical Examiner. Drugs and alcohol do not appear to be a contributing factor in her death at this time, as the facility where she was living has strict controls as to all items allowed inside.
Raelyn Niestroy will be greatly missed by all those whose lives she touched. She was a beloved daughter, sister, friend, and also mother, to her 3 year old son Mason that she tragically leaves behind. Raelyn was a gentle and kind soul, and a loving person whose quirky and outgoing personality captured the hearts of everyone around her. There are no words to adequately express the pain of her absence, nor the depth of the void she has left in our lives at her passing. It is our sincere wish, to give her the funeral and burial she deserves, and to send her into the arms of the angels with the utmost dignity and respect.
In lieu of flowers, the Niestroy family is requesting financial donations for these funeral expenses, and any excess funds will be allotted to a Trust account in her son Mason’s name, which will assist his care and welfare in the future.
