On September 28, 2019 Mikey married the love of his life, Qian, after six wonderful years together. Throughout their relationship, Mikey showed Qian the world through his eyes and shared with her the music he loved, and Qian showed Mikey how to open his heart. They balanced each other perfectly. Although they weren’t without their hard times, the good times far outweighed the struggles.
Before they got married, Mikey and Qian bought their first house together and adopted a four-legged addition to the family, Obi. Later that year, Mikey proposed and they began planning their wedding with the help of those they loved. A few months after the wedding, Qian found out she was pregnant. In anticipation of their growing family, they bought their dream house this fall and were getting ready to move in. The day before their one-year wedding anniversary, on September 27, 2020, Qian delivered a beautiful baby boy, Chase.
Tragically, just eight weeks after Chase was born, Qian passed away unexpectedly from a possible blood clot on November 20, 2020. She was taken too soon.
Qian was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She was one of the most giving and fiercely loyal people, always putting the needs of others before her own. Many people can count themselves lucky to have been a part of her life while she was here.
Mikey wouldn’t want to ask, but we know so many people want to help because of the love Qian had had for her friends and family. Any support you’d like to offer towards the unexpected costs her family is now facing will be deeply and sincerely appreciated.
Qian, you’ve left a hole in our hearts that will never be filled. Your family and friends miss you and love you dearly, but your memory will live on in all those you’ve touched.
